Palace Gate Penthouse Apartment
2007
£520k (S$ 950k)

Our client wanted to refurbish the Penthouse apartment he owned in a Grade 2 Heritage Listed early modernist building that had been designed by Wells Coates. Works included roof terrace works, various structural alterations including the installation of two new frameless windows, the refurbishment of the original windows and replicating the original window design for new doors, and the refurbishment of various other original features. I started working on the project as the strip-out works commenced, and was involved with inspecting the works on site, the design of minor details, the re-design of all of the bathrooms, and coordinating works with a late appointed interior designer and specialist finishers.

This project was published in Home & Garden Magazine.

After the completion of this project, we were also appointed to design and oversee works to the Staff Apartment on the ground floor of the building. He also later purchased the apartment below, which we joined to the penthouse apartment.
